Loch Coruisk
Isle of Skye, Scotland, 1993 There is no easy overland access to Loch Coruisk, in the Black Cuillin. There's either a very long slog from Sligachan, or the shorter route via Camasunary which requires a crossing of the notorious 'bad step'. Fresh water flows from Loch Coruisk, into the sea at Loch Scavaig, in what must be one of the shortest rivers in Britain. |
