This multiple image of a partial eclipse of the sun was done in the years BC - before computers.

I aligned the lens for each exposure, without the camera, by projecting the image onto a piece of white cardboard. The exposures were taken at six minute intervals.

I was delighted to have the picture displayed for several months at the Natural History Museum in London.
